Enahnced Collaboration for Guests and Staff

From as few as 50 users and 24 concurrent calls up to 5000 users and 1000 concurrent calls, Grandstream UCM solutions can be scaled to fit hotels of various sizes. For hotel guests, the GHP Series of hotel phones is specifically made with the guest experience in mind. These devices offer a wide range of features and price points, enabling hotels to craft room-based solutions tailored to their use cases. All Grandstream GHP devices can be configured in the cloud via GDMS, enabling seamless deployment of hundreds of hotel phones. Each model has a Wi-Fi variant and a white or black color variant, allowing for customized solutions.

Key Features:

  • Interactive Voice Response (IVR) allows callers to route themselves to various extensions, call queues, and departments, without the need for receptionist intervention. Call queues can be enabled to improve traffic flow to the administration staff without overwhelming them.
  • UCM RemoteConnect is managed through the Grandstream Device Management System and enables automated NAT firewall traversal for devices deployed outside an on-site UCM’s LAN.
  • Multi-Purpose Keys (MPKs) on staff IP phones can be used to assign line keys with multiple functions. Users can monitor extensions, use speed dial numbers, page IP intercoms, and more, all directly from their phone screens.
  •  PMS integration enables the UCM to communicate directly with a hotel's property management system, supporting features such as automated guest check-in/check-out, wake-up call scheduling, room status updates, do-not-disturb settings, call permissions, and automatic clearing of call history on checkout for guest privacy. Supported PMS platforms include HMobile, HSC, Mitel, and IDS, with an open PMS API available for custom middleware integrations.

  • Batch Configuration by Site, Group, or Model: A hotel deployment can involve hundreds of guest-room phones, Wi-Fi access points, switches, and staff devices across multiple floors or buildings. GDMS lets integrators configure and provision all of them in batches rather than device-by-device, dramatically reducing deployment time and complexity. 

  • Deployment Template Staging:  Configuration templates can be built and pushed to new or existing devices from the cloud before they ever arrive on-site. Devices are added via MAC address and automatically provisioned once connected,  making large-scale resort rollouts faster and less prone to on-site configuration errors. 

  •  Remote Monitoring and Proactive Troubleshooting:  In a 24/7 hospitality environment, downtime directly impacts guest experiences. GDMS lets integrators or onsite IT teams monitor the entire deployment and proactively address issues, often resolving problems before hotel staff or guests are even aware of them.
