1. Once upgraded to 220.127.116.11, downgrading to version lower than 18.104.22.168 is NOT supported.
2. It is strongly recommended to back up all data (both configuration and application) before upgrade. If the device is upgraded from very old firmware, or experiencing abnormal web UI or missing parameters in web UI, it is recommended to factory reset the device and then restore the data back to the device.
3. Local firmware upgrade is recommended. Please download and use the utility provided by Grandstream for local firmware upgrade, avoiding Internet or power interruption that may brick the device during firmware upgrading process. Please download GS Upgrade Tool here. For detailed usage, please refer to GS Upgrade Tool User Guide.
4. Two different firmware packages are available depending on the current firmware version of your GDS3710. If GDS3710 is on firmware 1.0.3.x or higher version, please download firmware package that has single firmware file here. If GDS3710 is on firmware 1.0.2.x or lower version, please download firmware package that has multiple firmware files here. Please make sure to download the correct package for upgrading, and do not mix the two firmware packages.
Since firmware 22.214.171.124, GDS3710 has added Alarm_Out port (COM1 interface) to be used as Open Door 2. This mutual-exclusive function allows this port to be either as additional Open Door interface (together with COM2 interface now GDS3710 can control two doors) or normal Alarm_Out interface for 3rd party device. The two doors can be controlled by RFID, local and remote PINs respectively. This is a major enhancement, please refer to the open doors logic document here for more details.
