Grandstream Releases a New Portable WiFi Phone for Beta Testing

New Beta test features a portable wireless IP phone with dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, and roaming support

For this new beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is searching for testers with experience in IP telephony and WiFi technology; those who like to explore and experiment with new products and are eager to provide extensive feedback throughout the beta testing process. Ideal applicants are those who have previous experience with portable WiFi IP phones from Cisco, Spectralink, Mitel, UniData, and others.

The new portable WiFi IP phone being released to the Grandstream Beta Club is a 2-line cordless IP phone with built-in dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and advanced antenna design and roaming support. This powerful WiFi phone comes equipped with a 2.4” color LCD and supports HD audio, wideband voice codecs such as Opus, offers a dual MIC design with advanced AEC and Noise Shield technology, and a real-time streaming video display. The phone features integrated Bluetooth for syncing headsets and mobile devices for contacts and call transfers, and also offers a built-in accelerometer, proximity sensor, panic button, and push-to-talk features. This new WiFi phone also includes a rechargeable 1500mAh battery with 7.5-hour talk time and 150-hour standby. Additionally, this innovative device runs on AndroidTM 7.0 and supports custom AndroidTM apps that fit the phone’s screen and keys, offering the ability for users to create tools and apps for their unique needs.

60 units of this phone will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by late April 2018. If selected for this Beta Club opportunity, participants will receive one WiFi cordless handset and companion charging base. Program Availability & Pricing
Each product beta test released through the Grandstream Beta Club will have a limited amount of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is FREE. Selection of participants will be determined by Grandstream based on applicant qualification. The cost to participate in a beta test will be $1 to cover handling, however the product model and shipping will be free of charge for each selected beta tester. There is no charge to applicants who are not selected for a Beta test.
