The WP810 is an innovative portable Wi-Fi IP phone that offers seamless roaming, long battery life and deployment scalability to enterprises, retail, healthcare, warehouses users and more

Boston, MA USA – Tuesday, April 7, 2020 – Grandstream, connecting the world since 2002 with award-winning unified communication solutions, today announced the release of the newest addition to their WP series of portable Wi-Fi IP Phones. The new WP810 is a powerful yet affordable Wi-Fi IP phone that offers seamless roaming and advanced features to suit a variety of vertical market applications, including enterprise, retail, logistics, healthcare and security.

The WP810 Wi-Fi IP phone is ideal for mobile IP telephony and roaming throughout any facility with Wi-Fi coverage. It features dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with sophisticated antenna design and advanced roaming support. It offers more than 6-hour talk time thanks to a rechargeable battery, crystal clear HD voice with dual-MICs, and a configurable push-to-talk button for instant communication. Thanks to an affordable price point and centralized provisioning, the WP810 offers significant cost-savings and scalability for large volume deployment. It provides a competitive upgrade or replacement of legacy DECT cordless phones, which are typically limited to small group use due to the inherent constraints of the DECT technology.

The WP810 offers a combination of competitive features, mobility, deployment scalability, centralized manageability, and attractive pricing to suit the portable telephony and security control needs of a variety of vertical markets. Key features of the WP810 include:

  • Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with efficient antenna design and advanced roaming support
  • 2 SIP accounts, 2 lines
  • HD voice & dual MIC design with advanced Acoustic Echo Cancellation and Noise Shield Technology
  • Rechargeable 1500mAh battery, 6-hour talk time, 120-hour standby
  • 1.8 inch (128x160) TFT color LCD
  • Supports popular voice codecs including wide-band Opus, G.722, G.711, G.729A/B, iLBC, etc.
