Firmware for all Grandstream products are improved and updated on a regular basis. Please check for the latest upgrade for your product.Grandstream recommends using HTTP protocol for firmware upgrades. Please note we have switched our public firmware upgrade server to use HTTP.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Firmware upgrades for all product models, please use HTTP server 168.75.215.189.

Firmware upgrades may take up to 10 minutes for older firmware versions, depending on the product model and firmware version. Please wait until the upgrade is completely done before a power reboot to prevent irrecoverable damage to devices.

WARNING
Before upgrading your device, please verify with your service provider that a firmware change will not affect your service.

HT-286 and HT-486 have different hardware and firmware versions. See above comments.

HandyTone-286, HandyTone-486, BudgeTone 100 Series:
For firmware releases prior to the 1.0.8.16 release, please use TFTP for firmware upgrade (instead of using HTTP).

Firmware 1.0.8.33 (HT286/HT486/BT100) is avaiable at HTTP server 168.75.215.189

Once upgraded, firmware can NOT be downgraded to firmware versions prior to 1.0.8.16. Please fully test new versions prior to committing to a global network upgrade.
