Grandstream Releases New Series of Carrier-Grade IP Phones for Beta Testing

Upcoming new series targets service providers and enterprises with carrier-grade IP phones made for mass deployments with zero-touch-provisioning

Boston, MA, USA (March 26, 2018) – Grandstream, connecting the world since 2002 with award-winning SIP unified communication solutions, today announced the release of a new series of IP Phones for testing by the Grandstream Beta Club. This highly anticipated series of next-generation IP phones offers service providers and enterprises state-of-the-art features, robust security and cloud-provisioning options designed to facilitate mass deployments. For this new beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for testers that have extensive experience using, managing, provisioning and deploying IP Phones. We are looking for testers who like to dig in and experiment with new products. Ideal applicants are those who have prior experience with Grandstream products and/or third-party IP Phones and telephony solutions.

This new series of IP phones being released to the Grandstream Beta Club are state-of-the-art, carrier-grade IP phones that were designed with “zero-touch provisioning” for mass deployment and easy management. They feature a sleek new design, reimagined user experience, unified firmware across the whole series and support wideband HD voice codecs including Opus. A color LCD with swappable face plates allows for easy logo customization and carrier-grade security features, including secure boot, dual firmware images and encrypted data storage, provide enterprise-level security. These next-generation IP phones also offer integrated dual-band 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 & BLE, programmable digital BLF/VPK support with dual LCDs and an external extension module on select models. For remote management and zero-touch-provisioning requirements, this new series will be compatible with Grandstream’s upcoming cloud provisioning platform, GDMS (Grandstream Device Management System), which will be announced for beta in April. Designed for service providers, enterprises and other high-volume markets, this upcoming new series of IP phones offers a powerful, secure, easy-to-use and easy-to-deploy voice endpoints with next-gen features.

50 units of this upcoming IP phone will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by April 8, 2019. The specific model being tested is a 4-line, dual-LCD model with integrated 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth. If selected for this Beta Club opportunity, participants will receive one IP phone. Program Availability & Pricing
Each product beta test released through the Grandstream Beta Club will have a limited amount of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is FREE. Selection of participants will be determined by Grandstream based on applicant qualification. There is no cost required to participate in a beta test. Approved testers are expected to submit feedback on the product through Grandstream’s Beta Club forum.
